Michael Morpurgo is Up for Reading

Hello friends,

photo of Michael Morpurgo

I’m Michael Morpurgo and I’m a patron of The Down Syndrome Educational Trust.

It’s a cause that’s very important to me because a member of my family has Down syndrome.

I know at first-hand about The Down Syndrome Educational Trust’s valuable work to help individuals with Down syndrome, wherever they live.

That’s why I’m so pleased to support the Trust’s Up for Reading campaign – and why I am offering the chance for one lucky child to have their name featured in one of my next books.

I can’t think of a better way to have fun and raise money than by reading books – nor a better cause to raise it for.

Do all you can, please, to support the work of The Down Syndrome Educational Trust.

All the very best, and thanks,

Michael Morpurgo
