Lord Mayor of Portsmouth is Up for Reading
The new Lord Mayor of Portsmouth, Cllr Paula
Riches has selected Down
Syndrome Education International as one of the
charities for 2010-11.
We are delighted to have been selected for this
honour which will help raise valuable
funds for our work and local awareness of our
activities.
As part of her support, the Lord Mayor (pictured,
right, during a visit to our base at The Sarah
Duffen Centre in Portsmouth) is working
with us to promote the Up for Reading campaign among
all of the primary and secondary schools in the City
of Portsmouth.
We would like to thank the Lord Mayor for her
generous backing.
